Thomas Cook Borderless

Thomas Cook is a leading international travel company, and has multiple travel related business interests. One of the most important ones is Forex.

 

Forex is a significant business for Thomas Cook, and is also becoming increasingly competitive – given the entry of a number of new-age competitors who are highly price competitive.

 

It was clear to us that while the Forex product & service offering needed to be attractive since people do compare options before buying, it was important that we created a highly salient campaign, because being in the top 2 or 3 brands that come to mind first would be crucial to increasing the brand getting in to the chosen set of brands and get more chances at being bought.

 

We therefore, decided to use a Bollywood A Lister – Kartik Aaryan – who has mass popularity and is also rising higher in his popularity with a number of new popular movie releases.

 

We took inspiration from one of his most iconic movie scenes and blended that into our script to enable the storytelling and to set up the multiple benefits that the Thomas Cook Borderless Card offered. Benefits that essentially make all other cards redundant and make the Borderless card the only Travel card you will need.

 

The main 60 second film was supported with a 30 second edit, multiple short feature specific films, Festive films, Posters, Instore branding, Outdoor, etc.
