We live in an attention economy – which essentially means that the commodity that’s most scarce is consumer attention. If you can’t get consumer attention, how do you deliver messages about your brands. And if you can’t deliver messages about your brands, how do you go about building brands. A tough question for the Marketing Communication industry to grapple with.
